Job purpose:

To support a young woman with Cerebral Palsy who lives in her own flat in the Southport area to maintain her independence both inside and outside of her home.

She is a wheelchair user. Her interests include going to the cinema, shopping and assisting with the girl guides anything Disney related.

Main Responsibilities:
Meal preparation

Domestic tasks

Support with personal care

Support to participate in social activities

Minimum Qualifications:
no formal qualifications are required.

Experience and Skills required:
You must be caring, empathetic, enthusiastic with a good sense of humour and a with a positive outlook.

Experience of supporting people with addition needs in a formal or informal role would be desirable

Full driving license with access to a vehicle is desirable - mileage would be paid by client

An enhanced DBS check will be required before employment commences, this cost will be met by the employer.

Only female applicants will be considered due to personal care needs

Hours - 24 hours per week Monday \& Friday 10.30am to 12.30pm \& 6pm to 8pm Tuesday 6pm to 8pm Saturday \& Sunday 10.30am to 15.

30pm \& 6pm to 8pm

No of positions: 1 or 2 (job share considered)

Wage:
£11.50 per hour
