Membership Organisation

1 Day Bromley Office, 4 Days Home

Basic Salary £45,000 with benefits include generous annual leave, favourable employers pension contribution, group life assurance scheme, long service award, medicash and TOTUM - employee discounts

Permanent, Full Time (open to flexible working requests for example compressed hours)


Our client an established and reputable membership organisation is looking for a Head of Membership and Marketing to manage a team of 3.


The Role of Head of Membership and Marketing


To ensure membership organisation's strategic objectives are delivered through effective development, delivery and marketing of our membership benefits to support strong retention of current members and recruitment of new members.


Alongside this, to use membership organisation's communication channels and partners to promote the membership organisation's brand and its work; and to support the sales of membership, products and services so income targets are met, and member/customersatisfaction remains high.


Key Duties
Marketing and communications are regularly reviewed and, where necessary, adjusted to ensure agreed objectives are achieved.

Membership recruitment and retention

Products, services and suppliers

Finance, compliance and risk management

Leadership and organisational management


Person Specification
Educated to degree level or equivalent.

CIMA or similar diploma or qualified through experience

Evidence of continuing professional development/training in relevant area

3 years plus successful track record of managing and delivering marketing campaigns to ensure member recruitment; retention and merchandise income and engagement targets are met

Experience of success in using different marketing channels (including digital platforms) for marketing, sales and engagement

Experience of budget management including income and expenditure and target setting.

Experience of managing supply contracts effectively

Experience of working collaboratively to deliver key objectives in line with business strategy

Experience of marketing and communications within a digital context,

High level of website CMS experience

Experience of managing an integrated customer services function to achieve membership recruitment; retention and merchandise sales well as support
