Logistics Executive (Imports), Maidenhead: Dealing with all B2B customer queries and logistics matters to ensure orders are processed and shipped correctly
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Dealing with the import of goods manufactured in China
- Ensuring the safe and timely pickup and delivery of shipments
- Monitoring shipments, costs, and timelines
- Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues
- Providing import and export documentation
- Answering customer queries
- Organise and store paperwork, documents and maintain electronic databases
- Other admin support where required.
The Successful Applicant:
- The skills required to do a stand alone role (only person in Logistics)
- Happy working in a small team with circa 10 in the office
- Ideally experience of importing goods manufactured in China
- Previous experience in an Operations import/export role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
- Strong organisation and planning skills
- Good telephone manner
- Able to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
This is an Office Based Role - Not Hybrid
What's on Offer:
Logistics Executive (Imports), Maidenhead Salary circa £25,000 - £32,000 plus competitive package dependant upon experience.
