Description
We are looking for Data Coordinator to join our team on the Adult Burns Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital.


Working closely with the clinical team you will play a key role in undertaking checks for completeness and quality on data entered onto the international burn database ( Ibid), escalating concerns and common themes, identifying training needs and ensuring data errors are corrected ensuring the quality of information recorded meets standards.

You will be responsible for entering the patient data and running reports for the clinical team.


The Data Coordinator will be responsible for the collection, inputting and validation of patient data, producing reports for the clinical team and their meetings.

The post holder will track the progress of patients through their care pathways ensuring the completeness of the data to comply with standards of the database.


You will be required to liaise closely and work collaboratively with clinical, nursing and administrative teams within the Burns Unit to ensure quality data is inputted collecting relevant data and participating in audits as required.

Support for ward manager with administrative duties.


With previous experience of working in healthcare, you will have excellent organisation and analytical skills with a good attention to detail.

IT skills are essential together with the ability to use databases and develop administrative systems. Excellent communication skills will allow you to liaise closely and work collaboratively with colleagues within the hospital and trust.
