Finance Officer, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm, 52 weeks per year

Salary:
£34,000 - £37,000 per annum

King Alfred School (KAS) is a progressive independent school in idyllic grounds in North London.

We are looking for a Finance Officer to work within our Bursary.

The Bursary at King Alfred School comprises a small team of staff who manage the financial and administrative activities of the school.

Each member of the team has their own expertise but are all expected to support each other and where necessary, step in for each other, to enable the smooth running of the Bursary.

As part of the role, the Finance Officer will liaise with the administrative and teaching staff throughout the school.

It is essential that applicants:
- are part-qualified or qualified by experience
- have experience in purchase ledger and bank reconciliation
- have excellent IT skills, especially in Excel
- possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- are knowledgeable regarding accounting and administration systems, as well as management reporting
