We have an exciting opportunity for a confident HR Advisor to join a successful business in Guildford.As a key member of the HR team, you will provide guidance to managers on various people-related issues and actively contribute to HR projects.
You will play a pivotal role in managing employee relations cases, well-being and performance management.There is great scope for someone to get involved in process improvement, the company is really invested in best practice and very open to ideas.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Advise on all employee relations matters, including performance management, grievance and disciplinary issues, longterm sickness and absence, and occupational health referrals, partnering with Line Managers and delivering clear and effective advice.
- Manage ER cases from start to finish, supporting Line Managers in conducting investigations, preparing letters etc and working closely with HR Administrators.
- Manage TUPE matters, project managing the process from start to finish including collating and reviewing TUPE Employment Liability Information, leading staff consultations and coordinating the transition process.
- Lead consultations and complete all necessary administration for redundancy processes.
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to review and update policies in line with legislation and best practice.
- Assist in developing and delivering training for Line Managers on HR matters including disciplinary and grievance, TUPE, appraisals and more.
- Support the annual salary review, promotion and bonus processes as required.

- Have previous experience in a HR Advisor role with strong Employee Relations experience.
- Possess excellent communication skills with the ability to establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be CIPD qualified to level 5 or possess equivalent experience.
- Be able to multitask and manage a number of complex cases simultaneously.
- Be passionate about delivering an outstanding service, keeping up to date with changing legislation and reviewing policies and processes to reflect best practice standards.
- Hybrid working (3 days a week in the office, 2 days a week working from home)
