Pay rate £43,850 - £46,750 Per Annum

My high-profile Banking client is currently recruiting for a
Trade Support Specialist

on a 12-month contract, role is based in London Monday to Friday with a hybrid arrangement of up to 3 days a week in the office

Team Overview/Responsibilities
The Trade Support Specialist sits within the Operations department and reports to the Trade Support Supervisor.

They are responsible for the timely and accurate post-execution trade matching, processing and settlement of trades (equity, fixed income andFX) and, where appropriate, cash transactions.

This will involve identifying and researching mismatches, liaising with brokers or internal dealing desk to resolve, issuing instructions to custodian banks, and escalating / reporting issues internally.

Other tasks to be completed will include settlement monitoring, liaising with custodians and brokers for setting up new markets, reconciliation of CSDR penalties, collation and distribution of MI, testing of new processes / products, writing procedure documentsand representing the team at internal meetings.

Tasks must be completed in accordance with established policies and procedures and in line with market practice and all exceptions accurately recorded, investigated, monitored and, as necessary, escalated to ensure timely resolution.


Essential experience

  • Experience in a multiasset Trade Support role (equity, fixed income and fx)
  • Settlements
  • Aladdin and Microsoft Excel experience preferable
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure within set deadlines.
