Description

The Vetting Administrator will support the Security Vetting Team Case Workers with administration of incoming clearance requests, compliance related activity and general case management provide a comprehensive case management service within the Security Vetting Tea.

They will be responsible for m - providing the customer with progress updates, advice and guidance on all things Security Vetting related.

The role holder may be required to work flexibly across other teams within HR Operations.


They will manage the ongoing maintence of employees and their clearances, engaging with our employees, clients, and other vetting organisation as appropriate.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Escalating issues to the Advisor as required, ensuring agreed service levels are maintained.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation received from employees, following up on any omissions before forwarding paperwork to the clients or other contracting authorities.
  • To be responsible for administration of the security clearance renewal process for your allocated cases.
  • To manage the administration of the 'leavers' process for your allocated cases.
  • Deal with requirements when advised of 'Change to Personal Circumstances.
  • Notify external authorities of staff clearance details, as required.
  • To deal with allocated cases for DBS checks i.e. request and confirmations, renewal etc.
  • Involvement in ad hoc projects as required.
  • Carry out other administration tasks as required.
  • Possible ad hoc support for other HR Operations teams if needed

  • Maintain accurate and timely records in all relevant HR systems to enable clear visibility of activities and enable effective information management

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to update on progress with specific work and maintain accurate records

The Individual:


_ The Vetting Administrator will Administrator will demonstrate:_
