Description

CK Group is recruiting for a Senior Development Chemist based in North Northamptonshire for a full time permanent role for a competitive salary of £30,000-£40,000 per annum depending on experience.

You will be joining a global specialty chemicals company and would be involved in researching, formulating and developing existing and new products.


Location:

The site is based in North Northamptonshire and is commutable from Northampton, Rushden, Corby, Peterborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray and Grantham

Your duties and responsibilities will involve:

  • Researching, formulating and developing products
  • Liaising with sales department to match products to customer needs and provide technical support as required
  • Assisting in the maintenance and running of analytical laboratory equipment
  • Providing support to Manufacturing and Production, Quality and Sales with respect to product improvement, product quality, sales development and quality system improvement

Your Background:


  • BSc in Chemistry or PhD in Polymer Science/Chemistry
  • 5 years experience in product development in specialty chemicals industry
  • Strong formulation, product testing and analytical laboratory equipment operation skills
