Your opportunity


The EMEA and Latin America marketing team is responsible for building the Janus Henderson brand, building product awareness, and helping to drive sales in tandem with the firm's sales operation.

The team is tasked with using all aspects of the marketing mix and is responsible for marketing to intermediated, wholesale and institutional segments across the UK, continental Europe and Latin America.


You will:

  • Assist the events team with a large volume of physical and virtual events ranging from small breakfast meetings through to large scale conferences across the EMEA and Latin American regions.
  • Be responsible for high levels of administrative support including compliance forms, manage and tracking invoices, contracts for events across the EMEA and Latin American regions.
  • Maintain a calendar of all events and webcasts that aligns our sales objectives with planned events.
  • Assist the events team with the creation and execution of the digital webcasts, plus preparation and followup materials
  • Collaborate with the sales and wider marketing teams to ensure successful delivery of events.
  • Assist with event collateral, including marketing materials, branded banners, merchandise etc.
  • Support the event team onsite to setup, execute and dismantle events, as well as adhoc duties including, but not limited to, guest list management and speaker coordination.
  • Support and contribute to event processes, including internal communication initiatives.
  • Reporting on key success metrics and monitor success of events and webcasts from data
  • Put the client at the heart of all activity, ensuring the client experience is seamless, engaging, and informative.
  • Ensure familiarity with Janus Henderson's product offering, financial promotions/literature principles and processes, as well as guidance from compliance. Ensure appropriate checks and sign off procedures are always adhered to.
  • Travel across UK for local events may be required. Possible overseas travel.

Must Have Skills

  • Educated to degree level or similar.
  • Significant experience in events management with strong digital competency
  • Experience using virtual event platforms and video conferencing software.
  • Computer literate, with good skills in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Nice to Have Skills

  • Good knowledge of financial services marketing and events.
  • Experience using Pardot / Salesforce.
  • Second language (preferably Italian, Spanish or French).
