Contract: Permanent, Part Time (22.2 hours per week)
Salary: £26,398 - £31,544 per annum pro rata (depending on experience)

CXK delivers careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) services in ten prisons across Kent, Surrey and East Sussex; supporting prison residents during their stay in custody.
The purpose of this role is to provide residents with professional and impartial careers information, advice and guidance; working with them to develop their motivation and work-related skills in order to enable then to move into employment, education, training, apprenticeship or volunteering on release.
The roleholder will also work with the prison staff to recruit, manage, mentor and support a caseload of peer mentors, delivering inspirational IAG and Employability programmes in both 1:1 and group sessions as required.
- An IAG qualification to level 3 or above;
- a non-judgemental attitude with a desire to support people to fulfil their full potential;
- a high level of organisational skills with good time management.
