Purchase Ledger Clerk
Pay Bracket:
up to £23,000
Our client is a market leading manufacturing company based in Preston with an international presence, who are diverse and ambitious - growing both organically and through acquisition.
What does the role involve?
Reporting directly into the management accountant, your role will involve running all purchase ledger tasks including processing of invoices and payments, reconciling supplier statements and dealing with stakeholder queries.
Responsibilities include:
- Matching, batching and coding invoices.
- Checking monthly statements/adjustments
- Processing supplier payments.
- Supplier reconciliations.
- Dealing with suppliers and resolving queries.
- Adhoc duties to assist the management accountant.
Who would be the right fit?
- A friendly character who will communicate well internally amongst colleagues and externally handling supplier and customer relations and representing the company on a daily basis with pride
- A team player who will work well within the existing group and will look to help others where possible
- Intermediate experience within Microsoft Excel
- Strong written ability and professionalism
