Graphic Designer

We are currently looking to recruit a Graphic Designer to join our award-winning business in Auchincruive, Ayr.

This role is responsible for designing and creating engaging visual content that communicates Neogen's brand message to our target audience across various platforms within the busy and growing Neogen Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) marketing team.

Working within a fast-paced environment, the role is a key contributor towards the success of graphic design objectives and overall Neogen business objectives.

This role works closely with the EMEA Marketing team, Product Managers and Global Creative Team.

Strong communication, excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly are all essential for success in the role.

The ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously delivering on deadlines is key to the role.

The work itself is vital and brings with it the opportunity to succeed and to progress with a great organisation which leads the market in its field.

Key responsibilities include:

Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop creative solutions that effectively communicate the brand message to target audiences.
Develop and maintain the company's brand identity across all visual communication channels, ensuring consistency and quality.
Keep uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in graphic design and animation, sharing knowledge and skills with the wider team to support and drive the Neogen brand forward.
Contribute own ideas and design artwork to add impact and visual strength to the quality of the original brief.
Regularly suggest and present new ideas to the marketing team to stay current and fresh and drive innovation.

Skills & experience required includes:

Creative flair and a real enthusiasm for design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
A keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
Ability to work on several projects simultaneously to a high standard.
Excellent organisation and project management skills.
Wellorganised, focused, selfdisciplined, and pragmatic, with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
Cando, enthusiastic, collaborative, and friendly attitude with a strong desire to improve own skills base and find improved ways of working for the benefit of the business.
Bachelor's Degree / Graphic Design Qualification.
Two or more years' experience in Graphic Design role.
Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio of work showcasing design skills over a range of creative projects.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, as well as excellent general IT skills.
Strong understanding of design principles including layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web assets
Experience in animation and motion graphics, including video editing is an advantage.
