Dean & Wood is a leading refrigeration and air conditioning wholesaler with 17 branches throughout the UK. We have a vacancy for a Warehouse Operative in Greenford.

The Warehouse Operative is expected to ensure customers receive a fast and efficient response to distribution enquiries, building customer loyalty and enhancing the company's reputation for service.

Your main duties will include:

Dealing with trade counter customers
Goods inwards, picking, packing, loading and offloading vehicles
Daily branch proposal and continuous stock taking
Daytoday administration
Deliveries
Daily vehicle checks and cleanliness of vehicles

The ideal Warehouse Operative will hold the following skills and experiences:

Previous warehouse experience
Ability to operate a forklift truck is desirable, but not essential; training will be given
Familiarity with computerised despatch systems would be an advantage
You would need to enjoy working as part of a team
Effective communication skills

Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is required.

Full training will be provided on all product and service offerings.

Your normal working hours will be based on a 42.5 hour working week, usually Monday to Friday 7.30am to 5pm.

However, you will be expected to work a daily 8.5 hour shift between the hours of 6am and 6pm on a flexible basis.

You will be required to participate in the out-of-hours call-out rota.
