We make promises to our customers, and we'll make promises to you too. The key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Calculate and record core and agency driver hours on a weekly basis. Maintain tachograph analysis records and file them in line with the legislation.
  • Control Tachograph reports and records of actions required
  • Understand and adhere to company and site health and safety rules
  • Update drivers' hours, holiday, and sickness onto the appropriate records.
  • Ensure all accident forms are completed actioned and filed correctly.
  • Carry out any other clerical duties such as photocopying, writing letters, filing and yard checks as and when required
  • Work according to the Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) at all times. Adherence to Company health & safety / security policy and procedures
  • Cover for the traffic controllers in their absence i.e. during breaks/ holidays/ sickness
  • Maintain fleets records in line with company policy and legislation
  • Assist the transport operation/office within reasonable request/capability

  • Ideally 12 years' experience within a transport environment
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent communication skills verbal & written
  • Ability to follow work procedures
  • Excellent organisations skills
  • Ability to work flexibly
  • Self Management.
