Payroll and Staff Payments Manager (3-month temp/FTC)

Location:
Milton Keynes

Our well-known client is looking to recruit an experienced Payroll and Staff Payments Manager to join their friendly team asap on a temporary basis.

The successful Payroll and Staff Payments Manager will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, andreviewing all payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

The Payroll and Staff Payments Manager will oversee four UK payrolls
Management of the Staff Payments Office
Lead, motivate and develop the team while monitoring performance
Provide support to Senior Management
Work alongside Payroll Stabilisation Lead and systems programme team to develop efficiencies
Define solutions and the implementation of the change programme deliverables
Developing required process documentation and training material for the team, providing updates as required
Implement, maintain, and review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll transactions
Managing the Concur expense system
Project Management involvement as a contributor and also as a leader
Advise on all statutory compliance and aspects of employment tax

Essential Skills/Experience:

Proven track record of strong leadership in a large payroll function, within an SAP framework
Extensive systems knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Office, and Excel
Excellent relationshipbuilding skills coupled with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
Payroll technical expertise coupled with experience in change management and governance
Demonstrated analytical and datainformed decisionmaking
