Health Records is moving into an exciting era using technology and innovation to delver a first class service to our users.


  • The post holder will ensure all Health Records are processed in
accordance with local policies and procedures.

  • The Health Records Team Leaders are responsible for the management of the Health Records Assistants : this will include rota's, annual leave, first line sickness absence management, training and development.
  • Supporting the senior management with the delivery of specified projects
  • Ensure maintenance Information Governance and patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collate relevant data to assist with the management of health records

  • Liaise with colleagues, Team Leaders and managers, as appropriate, to ensure duties are completed, issues and concerns raised.
  • Act as a first point of contact for Health Records Clerks and external service users and respond to, or escalate, any issues as they arise.
  • Provide advice and training for service users on case note tracking and the correct management of health records.
  • Take part in departmental team meetings to discuss and agree local policy and share information and ideas as required.
  • Support the Health Records Site Manager to gather information to support complaint responses.
