CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR

SHERBURN IN ELMET

£24,000-£26400

8AM-4.30PM MONDAY -FRIDAY

You will be helping to achieve and maintain our clients culture of friendly and excellent customer service, by taking personal responsibility and ownership of always delivering to the highest possible standards in all areas to all of our clients customers.

The Role

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of clients
  • Processing sales orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that the transport department obtains all required paperwork for order picking in line with the company's route schedules.
  • Handling customer complaints and queries in accordance with the company's BRC guidelines and policies. Submitting and processing credits and maintaining the company paperless filing system.
  • Helping to build good customer relations and generate new sales leads.
  • Working closely with your Sales Manager to discuss product information, pricing and out of stock items to ensure customers receive possible alternative options on time for their delivery day.
  • Responsibility for running daily Sage reporting to ensure all sales orders have been dispatched as per date promised, and all back orders have been logged with the new agreed delivery date.
  • Working as part of a team in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Liaising with the Sales Manager and Credit Controller regarding any issues with customer accounts including accounts that have exceeded their credit limits or reduced levels of spending and dormant accounts.
  • Assisting in the selling of the company's products and services by providing product and service information.
  • Working closely with key suppliers, where appropriate. Handling sensitive information in a confidential manor.
  • Helping to promote offers, such as money off deals and new product launches.
  • Carrying out the attached list of duties effectively and efficiently.

Salary:
£24,000.00-£26,400.00 per year
