Job Description Summary:
The Procurement and Inventory Planner is a critical role within the Parts organization.

The role supports the Material and Logistic Manager through procurement of spare parts for critical industries, tracking inventory from vendor to warehouse to ensure on time delivery and working closely with Planning & Sales teams.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Creating purchase orders
  • Communicating with vendors to expedite delivery
  • Be responsible for their own KPIs (promise date and on time delivery)
  • Communicate with internal customer on parts availability
  • Resolve issue with supply chain when occurring
  • Support the local logistic team when physical handling needed on site
  • Inventory and process control:
Support local stock transfer between sites (UK - Netherlands)

Partner with finance, sales, sourcing, fulfillment and manufacturing teams to drive broad based inventory initiatives across the business

Partner with engineering and project teams to identify depletion opportunities and reduce

inventory obsolescence risks

Support On time delivery initiative by improving internal processes


Qualifications/Requirements:


  • Experience working in a manufacturing/logistics environment.
  • Proved usage of data analytics tools such as Microsoft Excel
  • Good Interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Writing, Reading and Verbal English fluency essential

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong, passionate supporter of Customer Service excellence
  • Proficiency in SAP software
  • Excellent teaming skills "can do" attitude
  • Strong process skills, willing to be change agent
  • Ability to establish priorities and initiate problem solving techniques
