What does the role involve?


Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be managing 6 direct reports within the Purchase Ledger Team and responsible for ensuring all purchase ledger processing and administration are performed in a timely and efficient manner.

You will be required to work from our Newbury of Trowbridge office a minimum of 2-3 days a week.


Some of your key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the supplier invoices are posted accurately to the right accounts
  • Managing the operation of the team to ensure a smooth and efficient running
  • Successfully resolving any purchase ledger enquires from the supplier statement reconciliations
  • Ensuring the completion of the administration of company credit cards
What are we looking for?

You are a natural-born leader and understand the importance of being a strong communicator.

You come with the ability to build relationships within your team and the wider business to ensure all operations are running on track.

You have excellent listening skills and enjoy supporting others whilst also working on your own initiative.

Following a defined process and making sound decisions is something you a comfortable with and do not shy away from.


Also, we're looking for the following:

  • Leadership experience with team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Strong Microsoft Office, and Excel skills
  • Ability to analyse statistics and data
