Are you a Finance professional that enjoys Business partnering, working with senior management, being able to add value, drive change and provide financial insight during a period of growth ?

Search Accountancy & Finance are working with an East Sussex SME business who are looking for a Financial Controller for a newly created role as the organisation looks to sophisticate their finance function.

Working closely with the CFO, the Board and SeniorManagement you will be supporting the expansion and the drive into new markets whilst capitalising on their core offerings.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your experience with progression to Finance Director.

The Financial Controller will be working with key operational and Board stakeholders to drive a more sophisticated set of finance reports allowing for strategic decision making.

Typical duties will include
Working with the Board and CFO to drive short, medium and long term goals
Extracting financial data and presenting it back to the business
Introducing site and group financial reporting
Reviewing current process and procedures with a view to implementing changes within finance to facilitate to growth
Ensure accounting compliance

Successful applicants will ideally hold an accounting qualification be able to demonstrate sound technical accounting skills along with the ability to steer a business through a period of change.
