Overview
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mental Health First Aid Instructor to join our team.

As a Mental Health First Aid Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching individuals the necessary skills and knowledge to respond effectively in mental health within the workplace.

Responsibilities

Conduct first aid training sessions for individuals or groups
Teach participants how to assess and respond to various medical emergencies, including CPR, choking, bleeding, and shock
Demonstrate proper techniques and provide handson practice opportunities
Adapt training materials and methods to meet the needs of different audiences
Evaluate learners' performance and provide constructive feedback
Stay updated on the latest mental health first aid protocols and guidelines
Maintain accurate records of training sessions and participant certifications

Qualifications

Certified Mental Health First Aid Instructor or Qualsafe Mental Health First Aid instructor Qualification
Strong knowledge of first aid procedures and protocols
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to engage and motivate participants during training sessions
Patience and empathy when working with individuals who may be experiencing distressing situations
Organizational skills to manage training schedules and maintain accurate records
