Disrepair Surveyor

Midlands

Salary - £31,900 - £39,800 per annum - depending on skills and experience

Contract type - Permanent

Working hours - Full Time

Closing Date - 7 April 2023

About the role
You will be managing a range of housing condition claims and complex complaints cases.

You will provide specialist repairs and maintenance guidance around complex matters using your surveying expertise and help minimize our liability to housing legal disrepair claims.


About you
You will need a HNC in Construction.

You must have property maintenance or housing experience gained in a Housing Association or Local Authority.


You will need to have knowledge and understanding of disrepair legislation, notably The Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 and Housing Health and Safety Rating System.

You must have experience of managing a variety of data accurately with attention to detail.

You will be required to raise orders using the correct SOR codes and expense type. Ensure authorisation is obtained from budget holder. Process invoices for lower value works.
