Job Overview:
The council manages 13 allotments sites, comprising of over 1,000 plots, across the borough for residents of Slough to rent.
It is a very popular service, with a waiting list of over 1,000 requests from Slough residents to rent a plot.
We require a dedicated allotment officer to coordinate the service, ensuring that sites are safely managed and allotment holders adhere to the council's policies and procedures for tenancy.
The post holder will also be part of the wider parks ands open spaces team and will be required to carry out general administrative tasks including dealing with enquiries and complaints from members of the public.
We are looking for an organised and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and customer services skills, who is also competent in the use of specific software programmes and Microsoft Office packages including, Word, Excel and Outlook.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential to this role.How to apply:
