iSupply Recruitment have partnered with a long-standing business in the St Neots area who are looking for a Finance Administrator with at least 2 years experience to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.


What you will be doing:


  • Taking customer payments
  • Dealing with customer queries regarding instalment schemes
  • Running daily reports on the inhouse system to monitor and process instalment payments (premium collection)
  • Following the Debt management process for customers defaulting on their instalment payments
  • Preparing debt analysis spreadsheets and prioritising debt collection
  • Responsibility for upkeep and maintenance of inhouse system
  • Issuing all necessary paperwork to the required standard
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all processes are documented and keeping the documentation updated and accurate
  • Handling client cheques & occasional banking
  • Reconciling the daily bank movement/balance to the broking software, along with adding/correcting items, where appropriate.
  • Processing refund payments (up to a specified value)
  • Running various reports as part of a data review and cleanse, such as
  • Debtors & Creditors, Overdue instalment statistics & Unreconciled items & resolving any errors or incorrect balances
  • Reconciling statements
  • Preparing reconciliations of bank movement each week/month
  • Daily, weekly & monthly accounting reconciliations

What we are looking for:


  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Available to start work at short notice
  • Strong administrative background
  • Computer literacy, especially the ability to use Excel to a high standard
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects
  • Prior experience working in credit control would be preferable
  • Ideally working towards an AAT qualification study support may be offered.
