Protocol are delighted to be recruiting for a Safeguarding Officer within an educational establishment in the Swindon area.

Salary:
£22,178pa.

FTE £25,917pa

TERM TIME ONLY

39 weeks per year

Permanent

JOB PURPOSE:

The post-holder will work directly with students to provide pastoral support and personal resilience strategies. They will act as part of the safeguarding team providing a first response function when safeguarding concerns are raised.

Working across and in all Curriculum Areas the post-holder will work with a multi-partner team approach to provide guidance to students in the form of short, intensive interventions that enable them to deal more ably with the issues that are affecting them day to day or longer term.


DUTIES:

  • Provide pastoral support to an identified caseload of students
  • Act as a member of the Safeguarding Team
  • Maintain records on students and activities undertaken
  • Support staff by acting as one of the primary contact points for staff who have concerns about students.

Experience:

- safeguarding: 1 year (preferred)
