Description
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Events Sales & Support Coordinator to join our Events team This person will be responsible for managing all initial venue hire enquiries to increase sales conversions, helping customers find solutions, as well as supporting the team's administrative functions

Work Arrangement:
Approx 40 hours per week, Office-based, however some level of flexible work will be required

Role Overview:


The Events Team are a very busy, creative, tight knit group of vibrant professionals who strive to challenge and innovate wherever we can.

If you have previous booking/sales experience, a high level of attention to detail, happy to be hands on and get stuck into any project, this job is for you


Main Duties/Responsibilities:

Enquiries / Admin Support

  • You'll be the first impression, answering enquiries, advising on venue options, pricing, and finalising contracts.
  • Maintain accurate venue information, manage bookings, and create reports to keep everyone informed.
  • Handle client enquiries, complaints, and Freedom of Information requests, keeping detailed records and escalating issues if needed
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure venue listings are uptodate and accurate.
  • Take initiative and handle additional tasks assigned by the Wedding & Functions Manager or Head of Events.
  • Assist with the financial process for the

Events Team:
raising purchase orders and invoices, maintaining accurate budgets, ensuring compliance, seeking quotes, and managing the credit card log.

General Office Support

  • Maintain venue and equipment bookings, ensuring timely updates and communication.
  • Keep the conference room, kitchen, and event stores organized, managing supplies, cleaning, and recycling.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the GDPR log and event inventory.
  • Manage event key signouts.
  • Create and manage the buggy booking system, perform daily checks, and oversee maintenance.

Skills & Experience:


  • Previous venue sales/ booking experience
  • Friendly and excellent at building rapport with a positive, cando attitude
  • Exceptionally high standards of customer service, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, by telephone or face to face with clients, members of the public, senior management, and Enable staff
  • Previous experience in administration and/or office support
  • Competence using a range of office software, including outlook, excel and databases
  • Previous experience with invoicing/ purchase order data systems eg Xero or Sage
  • Comfortable working outdoors when necessary and supporting on manual tasks when required
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks/projects against tight deadlines
  • A creative mind with an ability to quickly problem solve, suggest improvements and demonstrate initiative
  • Ability to work autonomously under the direction from senior team members
