We are looking for a Model Validation Manager to join an expanding team within Data & Analytics and support the development of quantitative model risk solutions for Analytics clients.

This role requires knowledge of model validation techniques and understanding of model lifecycle and will include developing proof of concepts, prototyping, supporting various client requests with primary focus on Fixed Income (FI) Analytics, writing supporting material.


  • Develop a deep understanding of LSEG Analytics suite of FI models and associated products and refine existing framework for clientfacing model validation
  • Work with product and relationship managers on supporting model validation client queries
  • Offer effective challenges to model assumptions, mathematical formulation and implementations, while working with model owners
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Research, Technology, Model Development and Product teams
  • Help to maintain and further develop model documentation, testing and monitoring framework in collaboration with Research, Development and Technology teams.

KEY SKILLS

  • Coding experience in Python (knowledge of C++ is an advantage), interest in broader range of technology solutions is an advantage
  • Experience working in empowered, autonomous and crossfunctional teams to maximize customer value
  • Experience working in a customercentric environment
  • Ability to articulate complex model details to business stakeholders
  • Take an organized, wellresearched and thoughtful approach to work
  • Work well individually, but also as part of a team
  • Attention to details, positive attitude
  • Understanding of model life cycle and main principles of model risk management

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have experience within technical fixed income modelling or model validation roles
  • MSc degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics or other related discipline
  • PhD holders preferred, however highly motivated individuals with MSc degree in relevant background will be welcomed
