What you'll do

As a Climate Performance & Insight Manager, you'll be developing and managing a centralised source of insight which will increase our understanding of our climate transition and customer needs and inform future change and development.

Along with this, you'llbe developing, delivering and evolving a robust framework of performance controls to identify and drive service improvements, and supporting the management team and business unit heads on performance monitoring, forecasting, budgeting and targeting.


Through the course of your work, you'll be:

  • Making sure that there are continuous efficiency improvements in data collection, analysis and distribution to support reporting
  • Developing close working relationships with internal functions such as Data & Analytics, Finance, CDIO and external providers to provide cldata
  • Identifying areas across channels where data is missing and driving actions to resolve the gaps
  • Acting as Product Owner for change stack and working with technology teams across Wealth and NatWest to progress and implement necessary system changes
  • Analysing trends, performance and issues within the data and metrics to drive improvements to the customer proposition, controls, processes, and reduce risk
  • Proactively building your knowledge of performance and insight across the bank and industry to continuously improve and embed fit for purpose controls
  • Tracking implementation and impact of climate transition plans, linking to budget and risk appetite and recommending changes to business strategy based on performance

The skills you'll need
We're looking for someone with a detailed understanding of collating, interpreting and analysing performance data and information. You'll also have experience of analysing complex information, identifying gaps, problem solving and using data to drive decisions.

In addition, you'll demonstrate:

  • Commercial and financial acumen with good product knowledge
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organisation with an ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to deliver against tight deadlines
