Description

Our client in the Docks area of Belfast, require a General Yard Operative on an ongoing temporary contract.

Your main duties will be lifting bags of fertiliser and taking them up to the top of the stack to store them in the correct location (Working at heights of approximately 12 feet).

You may also be indoors tying the bags of fertiliser and lifting them to the correct stack location.

Own transport is ESSENTIAL for this role as hours of work may vary and there is no public transport nearby.

Essential requirements;

Physically able to lift 2030kg

Ability to work at heights (approximately 12 feet with harnesses)

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 8am-4.30pm, however, overtime will be required and paid accordingly.

You must be flexible between the hours of 7am - 8pm during busy periods.

Hourly rate:

£ overtime rate and a review of hourly rate after a few weeks on the job.

Must be over the age of 18 due to working at height and the weight of the bags
