Description

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an Exhibition Stand Builder to join our busy and dedicated team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent stand builder who ideally has experience working within the exhibition, events or retail display industry to join our expanding team in Cardiff, South Wales.

You will be working closely with the production and design teams by pre-building stands in house, then going out on site constructing all exhibition stands, fitting printed fabrics and assembling furniture in a safe and timely manner.

The role on offer is varied and will involve driving company vehicles, constructing and disassembling exhibition stands at venues across the UK, laying of exhibition flooring and dealing with the furniture requirements for exhibitors.

Due to the nature of this work the successful applicant must be prepared to work some weekends and be available to stay overnight.

Main responsibilities:
-

Working with a team to install onsite modular exhibition stands
Interpretation of working drawings to prebuild and install stand structures
Installing stands onsite throughout the UK & Europe

Essential:
-

Full clean UK driving licence
A great work ethic, including a willingness to work evenings and weekends when needed
Ability to work and communicate as part of a small friendly team
Physically able to lift and move heavy objects
Experience with hands on construction using manual and power tools
Adherence to health and safety
Comfortable working at height
Passport

Previous experience in exhibition stand build, retail shop fit, temporary structures or construction would be an advantage.

Salary:
£20,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
