We are recruiting a capable, enthusiastic Project Coordinator to provide high quality administrative, logístical and financial support across a portfolio of research projects led by scientists within the LSHTM Infectious Disease Epidemiology Department based at KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme in Kenya.
The post-holder will develop a good understanding of UK, European and US-funders' terms and conditions, work collaboratively with administrative and scientific colleagues in Kenya and the UK, and support the development of a diverse portfolio of projects in sub-Saharan Africa.
They will provide sound advice in all aspects of grant administration to ensure compliance with funder and LSHTM policies and procedures, including the Financial Regulations.
The post-holder will be a member of a high-performing, friendly team.
The successful applicant will have higher education to degree level or equivalent or substantial relevant experience of providing proactive administrative support in Higher Education (or a similar environment).
The post is full-time and funded until 31/12/2023.
