Salary:
£35,401.28 plus Veolia benefits


Hours:47.5 per week. 7am - 5pm

Every other Saturday 7am - 1pm (paid at 1.5 overtime)


Location:
Andover Waste Transfer Station, Hampshire, SP11 7AQ

What will you be doing?

  • Operate the Front Loading Shovels to transport waste
  • Routine maintenance of plant and equipment, including oils and water checks
  • Operate the weighbridge system and accurately record the weight and other specified details of vehicles both entering and leaving the site.
  • Oversee site visitors and contractors arriving on site
  • Issue instructions to drivers of vehicles entering and leaving site

What are we looking for?

  • Good IT skills for recording data
  • Operational experience within a similar role
  • Good knowledge of health and safety
  • Weighbridge and mobile plant experience although training will be provided
