We are recruiting a Handyperson.


Responsibilities:


  • Ensure that the Computerised Maintenance Management System (SI7) is used to capture all Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and General Work Requests that you undertake.
  • Carry out site inspections as per the SI7 agreed plan.
  • Coordinate with third party suppliers to carry out specialist maintenance works in line with the Planned Maintenance schedule and Reactive work requirements.
  • Understand and comply with all site HSE policies.
  • Carry out facilities handyman tasks (minor plumbing, moving, and handling of items, PPM tasks, nontechnical reactive tasks)
  • Site decoration as per agreed plan (painting)
  • Minor plumbing / carpentry alterations
  • Undertake general planned preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Undertake daily/weekly/monthly site inspections as required.
  • Provide cover for colleague's holidays / sickness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace.
  • To wear personal protective equipment when conditions require or when required to do so by the relevant risk assessment, method statement or mandatory signage.
  • Work safely always, alone or as part of the onsite team.
  • Be always professional.

Personal Experience/Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience in a similar role, proven record managing workload, ideally from a building fabric background
