A busy and well-established manufacturer based in the
High Peak are currently hiring for a
Machine Operator to join their team on a full-time basis working rotating day shifts.

This role would best suit someone who is experienced working in a FMCG or fast-paced production environment, who is looking for a long term career within the manufacturing industry.

What's on offer?
- £22,665 - £25,234 per annum

  • 38 hours per week: either rotating day shifts OR night shifts
  • Overtime is often available and paid at a premium after 38 hours

Day shift = Mon to Fri 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm with early finish Fridays

  • Day shift salary pays between £22,665 £23,732 per annum

Night shifts = Sunday
  • Thursday 10pm 6am
  • Night shift salary pays between £24,166 £25,234 per annum

What will you be doing as a Factory Operative?

  • Working on a busy production line operating production machinery
  • Mixing ingredients to form powders which are then pressed into goods
  • Moving goods safely around the factory ready for dispatch
  • General tidying up and any other adhoc duties as and when required

What do you need?

  • Previous experience in a production environment would be preferred but not essential as full training will be provided
  • Any experience operating production machinery would also be beneficial
  • Punctuality and reliability are essential
  • Good literacy & numeracy skills are required
  • Physical fitness as heavy lifting and long periods standing can be required
