Escape Recruitment have exciting opportunities available in Cowie, Stirling for Forklift Driver/Warehouse Operative to work for one of the leading wood panel producers in the UK.

Job Description:

This is a fastpaced environment, and the forklift operators play a critical role in the function of the warehouse, helping to move goods, supplies and materials from one place to another, onto and off of trucks whilst adhering to strict government and company safety standards.

Pay Rate:
£13.16 per hour plus £59.83 shift allowance per week.

Duties to include:

Operate a Linde H80D Forklift truck to RTITB Standards.
Ensure all work is carried safely and follow health and safety protocols defined in SSOW and Risk assessments for both the operator and any visitors.
Keep work areas clean and organised.

- load and unload goods from vehicles such as lorries, expected to load on average 21 trucks per shift which equates to one truck every 18 minutes.

Preassemble a minimum of 20 loads per shift, this requires the operator to remain on their FLT for extended periods of time.

- stacking goods in the correct storage bays.
- following stock control instructions and use our Microsoft AX & RF-Smart software.

Organise and ensure that each load follows strict DSA guidelines.
Carry out Cycle counts quarterly, this consists of removing, scanning & replacing each pack in the warehouse.
