We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative. Permanent, Full time - Salary - £20,000 per annum.

The role will be based in our new warehouse located in Birmingham - B11 3RE.


The workings hours will be Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break, working 35 hours per week.


Key Aspects of Role:

  • To provide a full order received service to Instructors via our online ordering facility.
  • Data input of orders onto the online ordering facility and/or Inventory Management System (IMS).
  • Data input and creation of Instructor accounts onto the IMS and other systems on an adhoc basis, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- eport any unresolved issues to your line manager in a timely manner.

  • To act as first point of contact for KDC either in person (reception) or via telephone.
  • To maintain close working relationships with all KDC service users.
  • To work and liaise closely with other associates within the same and other departments to develop effective systems and good practice within Kumon UK.
  • To be proactive and committed to continuous improvement within the operation and Kumon as a whole on both a personal and team level.

  • Reach and Counterbalance Experience preferred but not essential.
  • To check all stock received against purchase orders.
  • To provide, as and when required information to the warehouse office team including but not limited to supplier and goods received notes.
  • To put stock away in correct locations with due regard to Health & Safety requirements.
  • To accept all parcels/deliveries and ensure they are distributed quickly and accurately.
  • To segregate returned products into restock able, used sale item and disposal categories as appropriate, and process them according to procedures.
  • To identify and correctly label all stock received.
  • In a timely manner and as and when appropriate, to transfer stock from large stock area to picking area.
  • To maintain records of operation as directed by your line manager or supervisor.
  • To pick, pack and check stock accurately by whatever means as designated by line manager or supervisor with due regard to specified time frames.
