Graduate Bid Writer
Due to continued growth, Complete Detection Systems Ltd is expanding its Bids and Tenders team.

We have an opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career to join us as a Graduate Bid Writer, both developing themselves professionally through formal training and helping to grow the company's public sector presence.

What you'll do:

As a Graduate Bid Writer, you will use your creative writing skills and business acumen to prepare compelling proposals and tenders, aimed at our public sector clients including local authorities, universities, and NHS Trusts.

You will gain the skills through on-the-job training, delivered by our Head of Bids and Tenders, and through formal education within the industry's professional body.

As you develop in the role you will:

Write compelling tender proposals
Project manage contracts of all sizes
Identify both public and private sector opportunities
Provide advice and consultation on industry best practices

Is this you?

We are looking for someone that is at the beginning of their professional career and is looking to start a role which combines both a passion for writing and a strong interest in business development.

Degree education (English, Social Sciences, law, Engineering preferred)
Creative writing enthusiast
Strong communication skills
Looking to continuously learn

We work nationally with our public and private sector customers to supply, install, commission, and maintain the systems that keep our customers' safe.

Founded in 1988 by two Leicester Fire Engineers, CDS has grown to serve our national customers in the education, healthcare, heritage, and local authority sectors.
