We are looking for Joiners working alone and teams of two who are enthusiastic, hardworking, skilled experienced joiners or joinery teams to increase our workforce.

The post offers a variety of enjoyable work in various locations around the North West.


Hill Cross Joinery has gone from strength to strength in the last five years and we have been trading successfully since our inception in 2002.

Our client base is expanding and we have a constant flow of work on new build sites for housing and apartments, refurbishment of existing properties and working in void properties.

As a business we have four years of work in front of us at this current moment in time. We want Joiners to bolster our existing team of joiners to grow with the Business. Our business is founded upon three main pillars of trust, loyalty and hard work.

Full welfare will be provided on each site however the majority of the units that you will be required to work in will not have power to them.


  • Would like to be a longterm part of a growing company / team.
  • High Standards of workmanship.
  • Proficient in first fix joinery including erection of timber & metal stud partitions and fitting door frames.
  • Proficient in all aspects of second fix joinery including skirting, architraves, hanging doors and fitting kitchens.
  • Proficient in fitting UPVC windows and doors.
  • Work well as part of a team on your own.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Reliable in terms of attendance.
  • Owns and has use of own van/vehicle.
  • Has full PPE.
  • Minimum qualifications NVQ level 2 Carpentry and Joinery preferable but not essential.
  • Owns and has use of a full tooling including, hand tools and a full set of battery tools. Such as; cordless impact driver, SDS and Combi Drill, battery plane, circular saw, chop saw, multi tool, jigsaw and first and second fix nail guns.
