Permanent





WORKING PATTERN:
Term time only, plus one week





SALARY:
Grade 6 SP21-25 (£28,900-£32,020) pro rata


Do you have experience of providing a comprehensive and high-quality support service to improve overall school attendance? We are looking for someone to work closely with staff in school to identify children and families who may benefit from support, and work closely with them to help them engage with the school context and the educational opportunities, including extended services on offer at school and in the community.


You should:

  • Be experienced in supporting attendance initiatives
  • Have experience of managing caseloads
  • Be good at prioritising workloads and organised
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Promote and champion attendance policies and procedures a encourage best practice
  • Have excellent communication skills and able to establish relationships with students and families
  • Have good interpersonal skills including listening skills
  • Be selfmotivated with the ability to work independently

You will be providing support to a number of students with behaviour, attendance and welfare issues including Pupil Premium students, Looked After Children, Young Carers and Persistent non-attenders to overcome their barriers to learning in order to enable them to make progress academically.
