C++ Software Engineer / Developer London / WFH to £60k
Do you have a strong academic background combined with C++ coding skills and an interest in working with highly complex video processing and compression?

You could be joining a technology company that is producing game changing products using AI and parallel processing for data, video, imaging and point cloud compression, continually learning and progressing your career in a diverse, supportive environmentof innovation that empowers individuals to succeed.

As a C++ Software Engineer within the R&D team you will develop compression algorithms and codebases (mainly written in C++) for new products and contribute to design tools and strategies for efficiently processing and compressing images, videos and dataas well as designing and running tests for developed algorithms, analysing data and preparing reports.

You'll be working with C++ and specialist tools such as AVC, HEVC, VP9, AV1 in a collaborative environment with continual learning opportunities.

WFH Policy:

Following a remote interview / onboarding process you'll be joining an accomplished and collaborative team based in Central London, with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Requirements:

You have achieved a 2.1 or above at BSc in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or Mathematics, likely to have gone onto study at MSc / PhD level
You have C++ coding skills (and ideally other programming languages)
You're able to develop algorithms ideally with experience in researching and developing data compression and signal processing algorithms
You're collaborative with good written and verbal communication skills, keen to learn and share knowledge

Salary & benefits:
