This is a great opportunity to join a leading luxury retail and e-commerce business based in their St Albans showroom as a permanent
Despatch Coordinator.


Your role will be to manage the showroom Order Book to delivery. Co-ordinate deliveries dates with clients after order has been placed and deal with all delivery issues that may arise.


Along with:

  • To coordinate the delivery of goods once order has been placed
  • Initiate a comprehensive Hand-Over with the Consultant dependent on project complexity
  • Once order has been received contact is to be made with client
  • Ensure client is fully engaged and is signposted on all necessary points of process
  • Agreement to be made with client on viable delivery dates for 1st delivery and any subsequent deliveries.
  • Payments to be taken when necessary. Credit Accounts are managed correctly inline with Sales Ledger process
  • Notepads to be completed and delivery dates booked.
  • Manage all Purchase Orders issues and Confirmation dates that may prevent the progress of an order to the client's requirements
  • Proactive communication with the client or client's representative throughout the journey of the order updating on progress when required
  • Daily checks on My Active Documents to ensure that all new orders are dealt with and existing deliveries are correct and running smoothly.
  • Liaise with Sales Consultants to highlight any issues that are deemed nondelivery issues.
It is essential you have worked in a busy, customer focused administration position, ideally within luxury retail.

You understand the need for outstanding customer service and you will have the ability to provide excellent communication skills, both withexternal clients and internal colleagues.

The hours for this role are 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
