Alfred H Knight has an opportunity for an Operational Technical Governance Lead - Agricultural Services to join our Agricultural Services Department.

You will be responsible for the operational technical oversight, delivery and execution of current and emergingagriculture services across the AHK Group.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for "Serving Safely" ensuring work is conducted in accordance with AHK Health, Safety and Environmental policies and leading by example with a focus on safety first.
Agriculture operational leader with operational responsibility for current, new and emerging analytical services: Identifying and highlighting operational support for implementation of global agriculture inspection services, implementation of quality methods, procurement of operational, safety and field services equipment for safe, accurate and efficient service delivery.
Thought leader utilising predictive analytics to monitor and maintain operational risk through developing trends in agriculture inspection markets. To drive informed decisions relating to improving responsiveness and needed action to maintain business successand growth.
Collaborate with Regional Division Heads to guide and deliver efficient spend and prompt service integration.
Assists and develops the required operational quality management accreditations to ensure service compliance and delivery. Replication and implementation of methods throughout the AHK global analytical network.
Coaching and training the current AHK agriculture global service teams for delivery and continuous service improvement.
Implementation of standardised operational services throughout the AHK network through both remote and on site training.
Monitoring and compiling management reports, highlighting key performance indicators for operational performance, safety, commercial and operational efficiency.
Highlighting and monitoring key performance of operational personnel for continuous improvement and business continuity.
Will play a leading role in the recruitment and selection of new operational employees, as well as the development and promotion of internal AHK employees.
Liaison with analytical vendors to negotiate and establish global procurement programs.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

Minimum 15 years' experience in Agriculture field operations, as well management of field teams.
A clear in depth knowledge of Grains, Feeds, Vegetable oils, Liquids and fertiliser operations, and a history of implementing and monitoring loading controls, discharge services, sampling and quality management programs.
Experience in the Agriculture Testing, Inspection and Certification industry (preferred).
Indepth knowledge of Quality Management Systems and Trade accreditations (ISO17020, GAFTA, FOSFA, GMP) (preferred).
Experience and history leading cost and operational efficiency strategies (preferred).
