An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Protecting Vulnerable People Administrator, at the Central Referral Unit based at Kroner House, Ashford.

This is a co-located multi-agency referral unit dealing with the referral of vulnerable persons to partner support agencies. Home based working is optional in this job role.

You will provide a comprehensive support service to the Central Referral Unit; creating, maintaining, updating and searching computerised databases, ensuring that all relevant concerns are referred over to relevant partner agencies, thus enabling the provision of targeted support and protection to vulnerable persons.

Therefore, evidence of problem-solving skills and customer service skills would be an advantage.

You will be required to use various policing IT packages in order to manage referrals in your role.

Previous experience in using Athena, PNC, Storm and PND will be a distinct advantage, although not essential since suitable training will be provided.

Applicants will provide evidence of the following skills/experience; efficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office packages, good communication skills, resilience when working under pressure and an ability to work as a team.

This is an opportunity to work in a multi-agency environment and to make a positive contribution to the lives of the most vulnerable persons in Kent.

This opportunity would suit a highly motivated and dynamic individual who can bring their wide experience to the role.

You will work alongside a small team of Police Officers and staff, on a ten hour shift pattern of earlies and lates between the hours of 0800 and 2000.

This will be over a three week cycle and requires you to work one weekend out of three. You will not be expected to work nights.

Kroner House is easily accessed, located close to Junction 9 of the M20. Parking is available.
