Are you a UK (United Kingdom) Qualified Employment lawyer that has (IDEALLY) 5 years PQE +, in house?

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Global Employment Legal Team to ensure alignment and consistency in all regions where the organisation runs
Act as primary employment counsel for their operations in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland

This will include:

Managing all types of daytoday employment law matters, like hiring; performance management and termination; wage and hour rules; disability accommodation; harassment, discrimination and bullying; contingent worker issues; offpayroll working (IR35) compliance,investigations and related litigation.
Supporting policy reviews and ensuring all policies are as globally consistent as possible in the relevant territories.
Supporting the management of investigations and complex employment issues. Liaise with external employment counsel where necessary to manage litigation or obtain advice on specific issues in the above territories.
Advise on employment or other workforce related issues arising in transactions and other corporate arrangements.
In coordination with the Privacy Team, advise on all employee privacy related matters in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland.

Qualifications

Ideally 5 years PQE +, UK Qualified or UK Relevant law degree predominantly in house
Office location: Surrey on a hybrid basis but remote options are possible
Desired start date: ASAP (Immediate start)
