Base salary:
£33,850 pa to £42,350 pa depending on skills and experience. In addition, we offer flexible benefits fund of 15% which is paid on top base salary and is fully pensionable, as well as a range of competitive benefits - check them out in the Benefits section on our website.

As a Data and Information Advisor
at HS2 you will be responsible for all aspects of data and information for TEP, its integration across the organisations and integrating the Building Information Modelling (BIM) models for the Euston Campus.


About the role:


  • Responsible for the integration of the BIM models for the Euston Campus programme models and use available data to integrate cost information across the Euston Campus, to analyse for integration purposes and present the information.
  • Establish TEP information management strategy in line with existing HS2 and NR standards, roll out the strategy across the Euston Campus with delivery partners and maintain integration of data for digital engineering.
  • Responsible for design of multiple data models and specifications that fulfils the needs of TEP.
  • Responsible for Data Architecture development and design for TEP, integrating with existing HS2 and NR.
  • Develop guidance on different aspects of data and information for TEP directorates, to promote awareness of good practice and consistency across a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Responsible for ensuring information across TEP is managed effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide data and informationbased reporting to stakeholders, as relevant.
  • Be the point of contact for all data and information support for the Delivery teams.
  • Actively promote and embed Equality Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) in all your work, and support and comply with all organisational initiatives, policies and procedures on EDI.

About You:


Skills:


  • Ability to undertake data profiling and source system analysis; and able to present a rationale to colleagues to support the end use of the data.
  • Ability to identify areas of innovation in data tools and techniques, and recognise appropriate timing for adoption.
  • Ability to ensure data governance supports changes to the organisational strategy or corporate services.
  • Ability to develop and set data standards for an organisation.
  • Ability to anticipate problems, prevent them and design resolutions across a complex organisation; articulating these solutions to others to help develop their problemsolving capabilities.
  • Ability to lead on, design, and review solutions to complex problems with system architectures by defining and challenging patterns and principles.

Knowledge:


  • Applicable UK Building Information Modelling guidance and best practice.
  • Understanding of relevant data and information regulations and legislative framework.

Type of Experience:


  • Experience in managing data and information requirements in multidisciplinary environments, on large and complex major projects/programmes.
  • Relevant qualification to a degree level or the equivalent experience.
