Payroll officer based in York

Immediate start on a Temporary basis with long term progression

About Our Client:

Our client are a market leading organisation within FMCG, based in York.

The payroll team are currently undergoing and increase in workload, therefore requiring a experience Payroll officer to join on a temporary basis to help business run smoothly.

As Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

Verifying how many hours employees have worked
Inputting payroll data in the company's system
Calculating overtime, salary increases and shift payments
Processing holiday, sick and maternity pay
Issuing P45s and other necessary tax forms
Answering employee queries about payroll
Maintaining compliant policies and procedures
