**Job description

  • Companion**A lady living at home in Kelso is looking for a companion to keep her company for up to 9 hours per
week while her husband heads out and about.

Ideally, the hours and days would be Mondays and Wednesdays 10am -1pm and Fridays 10am-11pm

(There is opportunity for more hours on a Friday)


The job will be starting 25 September 2023

Main tasks and responsibilities

  • Ensuring the lady is safe while her husband is out but at the same time remembering to give
the lady space and encourage independence

  • Offering companionship
  • Light household duties

Hours of work

  • 7 hours per week, with the opportunity for more hours on a Friday.

  • Someone who is honest and reliable
  • Trustworthy and accommodating person
  • Patient and understanding person

Terms of the job
- £11.50 per hour

  • 5.6 weeks annual leave, calculated on a pro
- rata basis.
