Description

HR Business Partners - Hybrid working - London and homeworking - 35 hours/week during term time, permanent
£42,514-£45,155 per annum for 39 weeks/year (pay award for 23/24 pending)

The Compass Partnership of Schools and Eko Trust understand the impact that great HR can make on an organisation and have decided to invest in a new joint HR function.

These 2 new HR Business Partner roles will form an important part of this new function, so this is a fantastic opportunity for forward-thinking HR professionals to join us.

As HR Business Partner and working as part of a small team with the HR Director, HRBP, HR Administrator and outsourced HR advisory service, you will help to create and implement the Trusts' People Strategies and will use your positive attitude, HR knowledge and your communication and influencing skills to lead the provision of a proactive, business-focussed and high quality HR service to designated areas of the Trusts, supporting the delivery of agreed objectives.

Initial objectives are likely to focus on supporting the anticipated growth of both organisations, developing and putting in place recruitment and retention strategies for hard-to-recruit roles and training leaders on key HR matters.

You will be able to develop and maintain effective professional relationships with a wide range of people, ensuring trust and credibility and will enjoy working collaboratively across the two Trusts.

In these busy roles you be able to prioritise and effectively manage your own workload ensuring conflicting deadlines and demands are routinely met and you will be able to use excel to interrogate, analyse and present data.

The Compass Partnership of Schools, based in the borough of Greenwich, became a Trust in July 2017 and has 10 primaries and an all-through special school.

It is likely to grow to 14 schools within the next 6 months.

Like-minded Eko Trust has 7 schools including 2 all-through SEMH schools and is based in East London having formed in November 2016.

It also has strong growth plans over the next 6 months.

In time, we expect the Trusts to have 25-30 schools under their wings, with their exciting vision for children and communities.

Both Trusts are committed to meeting all staff development needs, ensuring that staff feel a sense of belonging, are happy, inspired and challenged.

To develop our newly formed team, we will have time together in different bases across the Trusts, in London SE9 and Newham E13, and there will be some travel to our schools across East London, Greenwich, Suffolk and Essex.

Access to a car for this travel is highly desirable.

We also know that to empower our people to do their best work, they must be able to balance the demands of work and home and so there will be regular opportunities for home-working whilst ensuring that we put the needs of our customers at the heart of our service.
