Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4pm
Active Recruiters are pleased to be partnered with a marine specialist client based in Portsmouth that are looking for a SHEQ & Training Manager to join their growing team
In this role you will be dealing with all aspects of Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality across the business. There will be an element of training and implementation across all departments

Key responsibilities include:

Provide Health and Safety advice to the management and operational teams.
Manage and develop the team
Manage, maintain and improve health, safety and welfare in the workplace.
Oversee inspections and accident investigations
Manage all SHEQ policies and procedures.
Act as the SHEQ Management Representative
Ensure all new and existing legislation is rolled out to the teams
Investigate/record incidents, accidents, complaints, cases of ill health.
Carry out or assist with Fire Risk Assessments for the company's premises.
Undertake and assist with risk assessments and site inspections.
Ensure equipment is used correctly/safely
Identify potential hazards and determine ways of reducing risks
Compile statistics, capture, update and report key data and information accurately, and report to management team.
Keep up to date and ensure compliance with current health & safety legislation
Conduct induction training to new employees
Manage corporate safety training policy as applicable to the needs and requirements of the business
Plan and oversee audits
Ensure all Quality records are maintained
